I am knitting this with Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift. Although I love Marie’s British Breeds wool it was just a little too expensive for me.
I am finding the chart quite difficult to follow. I have printed the chart enlarging it to 150% but some of
the black and white symbols are difficult to make out. I have to keep checking the chart in the book which are a little clearer but very small.
WHOOPS! Whilst enlarging the chart I somehow managed to miss out rows 51-59. I am now on row 100 of the chart, I am not taking it back. I will have to miss those rows out when I knit the front and sleeves. (What a stupid mistake to make) I am really angry with myself.
I have added the 51-59 rows after completing the repeat rows and have now finished the back.
6/0822 Starting on the front of tunic.
16/11/22 At last I have finished this project, it seemed to take forever. I am pleased with the end result though.
