June 2nd (morning). I can finally start knitting, now that I have 2 mm needles.

June 2nd (night). I CO both socks on my brand new knitpicks wood needles, only to snap them (while doing stockinette, no brute force applied). Gonna have to go back to my LYS to replace needles. Arrggh.

June 3rd. The LYS replaced my 2mm wood needles in metal, saying that it should not have happened. Progress report for the day: finished both toes and started the first lace rep.
June 4th. Knitting is coming out nicely, starting to get some shape.
June 5th. I have about 7 cm of lace already, and trying the socks on they are a perfect fit. Hurrah!

June 8th. Started working on the gusset, couldn’t get much done, though.

June 10th. Finally finished the gusset, and turned both heels (boy do my hands hurt after so much fine knitting!). Hurrah! working in the round again is fun.

June 21. Finished!
