Winter cardi for my big girl. Following the 6-7 numbers, but using larger needles and slightly heavier yarn so I’ll end up with the 8/9 she needs.

Doing long sleeves. Hoping to get one for each girl out of this yarn, but we’ll see.

Different sleeve shaping than I’ve ever done before. It was very confusing at first and I was unsure, but I kept trucking away at it so it’s starting to take shape and it’s totally making sense now. The Next one I do will be so much faster and easier. :-)

8/5- Yarn behaved beautifully, and the FO is gorgeous. Can’t wait to get it blocked and on my girl. She’s excited to choose a button for it. My girl has extra long arms, so even though the rest of the pattern fit her dimmensions, the finished sleeves needed to be 14” instead of the 11.5” the pattern estimated. Used a full skein of CW plus .5 oz from a second skein, and used 3 oz trim in the end.
