This is an excellent pattern and soooo well written, from the picture instructions to the written words!

April 21st - Squeeeeeeeee! Got my yarns today ^_^
I’ll be following the instructions in US Terms.
I used the recommended hooks but I didn’t do a sampler, lucky for me the rectangle fit perfectly with my square! Just have to crochet with the same tension!

Ok, I’ve decided to drop all my WIPs and start my Blanket now ^_^
I got a 16cm square! Ok, I will stick with my extra cm ^_^
This is so addictive that I completed all 4 squares in 1 day …while watching Arrow!!!
Loving both experience ♥

May 22nd - 24th ~ Block 4 Bobbles & Pinwheels
120g = 386 yards
Size 12” x 6”
Jane’s Blog
Jane’s blog above gave me extra help with the bobbles.
Had to pay extra attention to the colour changes and the pinwheels!
I’ve also join the 2 squares to the 4 rectangles. The slip-stitch edge on the two sides of the rectangles made it easier to join with the squares :)
My Mamie bought me a lovely basket last week and I thought it was ideal to carry my yarns. I’m working from the middle of my ball-of-yarn so the ball doesn’t roll about when in use ^_^

June 16th - 18th ~ Block 5 The Lily Pond Flower
90g = 289.8 yds
Size 6” x 6”
Jane’s Blog
A few people in Jane’s forum said they are crocheting the 4 squares at the same time… make total sense!
I’m also loving the white petals in the middle, just like how I would draw them on paper :)
Squeeeeeeeeee! I absolutely love this flowery square!! This is my favourite!!
At first I thought the flower will be far too big but I didn’t need to worry :)
I had a real thrill making each petals.
I had to keep a good count (29 sts) when joining the squares together.

120g = 386 yards
Size 6” x 12”

This one worked up a lot faster! Even the slip-stitch edges are making sense…
1 ss over each sc, 2 ss over dc, 3 ss over treble… all add up to 29sts

July 29th-30th ~ Block 7 Medium Lily Flower
60g = 193 yards
Size 6” x 6”
Jane’s Blog
Again I crochet those squares simultaneously. Gone a lot faster, just 2 days of crocheting for all 4 Flowers!
I’ve used 3.5mm hook to join instead of 4mm. I’ve applied this to all. Hook 4 was just too loose for me!

July 30th - Aug 1st ~ Block 8 Large Lily Flower
100g = 322 yards
Size 6’’ x 6’’
Jane’s Blog
Crochet all 5 modules simultaneously.
I used several stitch-markers, as pins, to place to central flowers in the middle of the square.
I actually used this method in all of the joining!
Only 10g of 1708Petrol left, crossing all fingers and toes!!
I nearly cry when I was left with only 80” of Petrol yarn left and I haven’t join the Framework…
I didn’t read page 6 thoroughly… Meadow1065 is used to join the final framework.
Phew! I’m smiling again!

August 1st-2nd ~ Border
125g = 402 yards
I’ve used 3.5mm hook throughout.
Fit beautifully!
I love my Blanket ♥
