Every time I see a garment with cables I feel immediately attracted to it. Needless to say that when I discoverd this beautiful design I simply had to knit it.

My version has turned out a bit longer than intended; it grew in length after the first wash, but it is not too bad.

Mods:

I don’t know whether I did something wrong, but after completing the hem section (8 x rows 1-4 of Hem/Front Panel Chart), when I was going to work the set-up row of the Back Panel Chart over 48 stitches, it did not seem logical to me. In order to achieve a smooth transition from the hem to the rest of the body I opted to work the set-up row as follows:

p2, k2tog, yo, p2, k8, p2, k2tog, yo, p2, k8, p2, k2tog, yo, p2, k8, p2, k2tog, yo, p2.

Then, on the next RS row, I worked the set-up row as shown in the chart.

If I remember well, I had the same problem with the sleeves.

Other tan that, the pattern is well written and easy to understand.
