I was asked to make a simple shrug for Elann Yarns, so I came up with this simple but sophisticated design inspired by lacy doilies. A very simple and impressive one, the lace details on neck and sleeves makes it look a little more complicated than it really is.

The shrug is worked in one piece, starting on one sleeve as a tube, going through the open back and then closing another tube for the second sleeve, continuing with the lace work on the second sleeve, all in one piece. Then you will continue to the first sleeve and neck. No sewing necessary.
