Get exactly what the pattern calls for, swatch for tension! Buy one extra ball of yarn if you leave long ends or want to do ties instead of buttons.
Note: if you do a chain st after the puff, it will keep your puff on the RS, otherwise at the end, before the cabling stitches, you must flip your work because the puffs will be on the WS.
