I originally designed this bag for a class series I taught back in 2005. Two computers later, my sweet dh was able to retrieve the class instructions and in 2009 I rewrote the pattern for publication, updating its look. Pictured here is the original bag in 100% wool. It also looks terrific in suede (in dual pic; on left).

The pattern features six fantastic crochet stitches rich in texture, and includes one granny square for a touch of flair.
