Toe-up, two-at-a-time socks for Big! Gave them to Big for Xmas not done! with a promise that I would get them done for him.
not sure I like the gusset increases seems like I am creating a larger gap that I would with another type of increase.
12/27 Begin again. Sigh. I needed some extra length in the foot. The gusset increases were completed just short of Big’s ankle bone and even with adding some into the heel.. it just wasn’t going to work. I tried to frog back to before the gusset increases but let’s just say… need. To. Restart.
Now I’m increasing my needle size a bit for a little more stretch and we’ll go from there!
3/3 deadlines are so overrated :( lol Good thing Big isn’t expecting these socks anytime soon!
JUNE 2015 RESTARTED………. not happy with the overall width, length of foot so I just frogged the whole darned thing.
JUNE 2015- restart and got the foot and heel done in about a week. Now it just sits there in my knitting bag looking at me. Poor BIG hope his feet don’t get cold.
