I have a great mailman right now. When I have a package he brings it plus all my letter mail to my door, rings the doorbell and, if I´m home and come to the door, he hands it to me with a smile and says, ¨have a nice day.¨ This means a lot to me since I have chronic pain and that means I don´t have to bend down to pick it up. Whenever I get a large box he puts in inside on the floor for me. He is not creepy either. He is a nice young man and very polite. He doesn´t know I have chronic pain either. I think he is like that with everyone. We had a string of really bad, short lived mail people before him and I´m so glad he is my mailman. I am making him this scarf to show him my appreciation.

1 Knit 2, purl 1 to last 2 stitches, knit 2
2 Purl 2, knit 1 to last 2 stitches, purl 2

This scarf does curl up on itself. Blocking it out helped a little bit but it would work better if I´d used wool yarn. This scarf is very soft and squishy though and I like the look of the large ribbed stitches.
