When I made the toddler size mine came out doll sized so I am going up a hook size.

I finished the toddler size with only a few inches (less than 5) left from the ball after weaving in. It is currently being blocked.

Notes from Toddler size:
Round 10: I didn’t like the chain 2 not being counted as the first stitch. It looked like there were 2 stitches there and didn’t match the repeating pattern all the way around. I decided to start with a Chainless Starting Double Crochet (Video by Moogly) instead.

Round 11: I was a little thrown off by the wording of this row. Just change the wording to say “in the next chain 1 space.” So the clusters of puff stitches alternate with the puff stitches of row 9 with sc in the next chain 1 space.

Round 13: After the portion in parentheses it should read “in the next chain 1 space.”

Round 16: I had a really hard time getting 95 stitches around. (If you haven’t figured this out by now I have some issues with OCD so I need more precise instructions). Here is what I did. 6 repeats x 16 sts = 96. So starting out with 2 sts in the sc, 3 in chain 2 space, 2 in each puff stitch, 1 in chain 1 spaces, 3 in next chain 2 space = 16 I’ll just drop one stitch at the end to get 95 but you could also just go with 96.
