I tend to knit loosely so I had to go down to a US 8 to get gauge. I knit the hat a bit shorter as I prefer a bit more traditional look. Super easy pattern and the hat and cowl knit up quickly. With linen stitch watch that you don’t work your stitches too tight as the fabric will be quite stiff.

The yarn is very soft and squishy. It looks great in the linen stitch.
