Notes

I had a fair amount of the Breathless left over after I knit the cowl, so I decided to knit the matching hat. Love the finished piece, very elegant, matches the cowl beautifully.

I did not knit the liner that goes beneath the fur portion. Instead I knit the fur edging and went right to the increases. If I had it to do again, I would probably knit the fur edging a bit more. I only did three inches and I think four inches would be better next time, I had plenty of yarn left so it would have been no problem.

I finished this in an afternoon, it went very fast. I purchased the ebook which had all the patterns together. It seems there was an error in the pattern in the ebook for the hat. It had you repeating steps 5 + 6 and I believe it should read repeat steps 6 + 7 twice more. As you need three rounds of the K2Tog, yo based on the photos of the hat. That’s what I did with my finished piece.
