I REALLY REALLY enjoyed testing this pattern!! I’ve already been familiar with the Flower Of Life Stitch because I made the Flower Of Life Hooded Jacket, another great design by Jennifer Xerri!

I love working with large hooks, it works up so quickly!! BUT large hook sizes differ in size - I have quite a collection of 12mm hooks as it’s my favourite size. Some crochet more like an 11mm hook others like 13mm! Also the tension matters!! The sizing can easily get off!! I suggest when you crochet this pattern to just crochet a Flower of Life panel until the desired sleeve length is reached. The pattern is easily adjustable & in the end it doesn’t make a difference if you need 18 rounds or 26 to achieve it. If you need to make a specific size I would just fold the panel at a certain point & compare the length of the sleeves & bodice with a cardigan you have in the size you want to make.

I decreased more stitches than indicated at the cuffs - my cardigan is very flowy as I used light weight cotton cakes. The sleeve width was so wide that I needed to decrease more to bring it to the desired length.
