Patons Adventure Knits is a great little booklet full of traditional but inspiring knitwear for toddlers and young children.

It’s finished and I’m very pleased with it.

I didn’t do the embroidery that you can see on the pattern picture as I thought it would look too messy on the small size. So I used daisy buttons to liven it up.

I didn’t do the saddle on the shoulder either - but I should have made the body a bit longer to compensate.

The leaf pattern was easy to knit - I accidently made it lacey with my increases in the pattern but I liked it so kept it.
