Knitted first mitten until vikkel braid and frogged it. The yarn that came with this package (Aade 8/2) was too thick for my liking and I couldn’t get the gauge right. I’ve switched to different Saara yarn (Hea kindalõng 12/2) and it looks much better. I’m half way to vikkel now. I’m contemplating if I should start with second mitten right away to get them done simultaneously.

My six year old son has claimed these as his own now. They fit his hands much better than mine so I don’t mind (I have knitted a second pair that fits me).
