I was just 5 rows away from finishing this beautiful stole and my first lace project for my Sister-in-Law when we were told that our sweet and brave sister, friend, aunt, wife lost her long battle with Cancer on June 26th.

With a heavy heart I finished the stole 2 days later.

I never noticed the name of the yarn until today.

I will gift this scarf to her other Sister-in-Law -- Julie, who was by her side from start to finish.
