“Total 50s pinup!” That was the best comment I got when I tried the skirt on at my local yarn shop today. TONS of compliments. This is the third skirt I’ve knitted (or fourth of fifth if you count the miserable repeat failures I had at my first skirt attempt from Romantic Knits book) and I have to say this pattern makes an unbelievably gorgeous skirt! I TOTALLY LOVE IT. I made it a size smaller than I would have originally thought to make (taking a cue from the mistakes of my first two skirts). It is rather form fitting, and I have to do a bit of a wiggle to get in it, but that should get better as I’m working out quite frequently.
