I whipped up this earthy fade to complement the cutest tunic I thrifted for KnitCity this weekend! I didn’t want to break up my amazing Ochre fade by Union Fibre BUT I thought 3 colors would be best for this piece and I’m thrilled with the result so far!

I’m just fading in the third and final color, Shipwreck, and it’s exactly what I wanted: Rich and Dark

I’ll definitely be adding fringe just like the original, I love it.

I followed the pattern as written.

For the fade, I changed colors in the garter section after the lace portions. Here’s the sequence:
