Front Panel is complete! This is such an addicting and fun knit, I finished the first half in a day. I’m alternating these pretty skeins and loving how they are blending together as I had hoped they would. Knitting mojo is back!

I did not find this pattern challenging, I am quite experienced but as long as you take your time an adventurous beginner could easily tackle this project. It’s a bit spicy in the Lace bits but just take it one stitch at a time and double check your sts counts along the way. Lifelines can also be handy for the beginner. Trust the pattern - it is perfectly written and exquisitely designed. My recipient is a 37”bust and my dress form is 40”, I aggressively blocked the front to pattern measurements and it’s spot on. I think it’s going to look amazing on her!

I’ve had quite a few questions regarding fit: I made NO mods to this pattern, I knit this piece exactly to the pattern with no additional rows, changes to width or length of the straps or any other such mods. It’s important to note that this piece requires a good blocking, to ensure the fit matches the dimensions outlined in the pattern and the lace opens up.
