This is a commissioned gift for a friend. He wants to surprise his wife with it for her birthday…how sweet is that? Sadly, Twisted just announced that the Vintage colorway is being permanently retired, so this will probably be my final project out of this beautiful colorway, but I think Alex picked a great pattern and color combination!

PROJECT NOTES

This is my second time making this pattern; I love KnitSpot designs, and while this isn’t difficult at all, it is lacework on every row of the 18-row repeat. It’s not hard to do, but even after making two, I don’t have it memorized. Maybe if I’d made them closer together, time-wise…

• Used size US 6 needles with this yarn to get a good drape. Based on first project (on Muse base), I know this will bloom when blocked.

• Worked 17 repeats of pattern, based on calculations from first project.

• Cast off over US size 7 needles, using stretchy (tbl) bind off.
