Cast on: I began with garter tab - CO2, knit several rows. Then turn the thing 90°, YO, pick and k1, YO, pick and knit 2 sts. That makes 7 sts on the needle.

WS: k2, pulr until 2 sts, k2

RS: k2, M1, knit until center, M1, k1, M1, knit until 2 sts, M1, k2

…basically it is a triangle with 4 M1 increases in the RS and with 2sts garter borders.

Change color so that the stripes are 2 rows wide.

Before lace part - one eyelet row.

Lace begun at +- 375 sts.

Beads in lace part according to other people’s pictures.

Last two rows of lace chart are in natur colour (not an intention, I ran out of dark blue).

One extra WS row before bind off.

Bind off with crochet hook - beaded picots at the points only.

Blocking: wingspan 179 cm, depth 77 cm. … well, it’s rather huge :)
