The neckline is really beautiful on this. I wish I had waist shaping thought, because the piece folds so easily like an accordian at the places where stockinette and colorwork meet.

My stockinette bands are definitely looser, even with using the smaller needle.

Sleeve mods: Cast-on 40 sts, ribbing 24 rows, st st 10 rows, 6 colorwork bands to armhole.

Loved seeing this on the cover and cast-on right away. I knew there would be an issue with tension between the stockinette and the colorwork bands… FYI: using one size smaller needle for the stockinette as in the pattern didn’t fix it for me. Stockinette still ruffles and is looser.

I decided only to use stash yarns for the colorwork, so I ended up picking some subtle color changes that aren’t as clear as in the original. I like it - - it is like a deconstructed pixelated version of fair-isle.

What makes it unique? Purl stitches in the color work.

Beware? There are 3 colors used at once for 4 out of 10 of the colorwork rows… annoying!
