Blogged here!
June 23, 2015:
Finally a blog post, despite having finished this in November. You may have noticed that I screwed up the ribbing at the bottom! I don’t know WHAT came over me, I just was picking up stitches and knitting along and the thing was TOTALLY WRONG!! I didn’t even notice until someone mentioned my “mod” on Ravelry, lol!

Excellent pattern! Body is finished and it fits perfectly… the waist is exactly where it should be. It’s funny how it looks like a bodysuit right now. My husband said, “ooh, you knitted a juste-au-corps!”

So excited to finally do a BdF pattern (in French!). I’ve admired so many of the designs, but only recently got all the catalogs from the local warehouse sale in Montreal. $1 each except for this latest one for only $5. Score!
Love the modern ribbing details on this pullover. It will be dated in a few years, but hey, I feel like it.
I don’t think I’ve EVER had more pleasure physically knitting with a yarn than Rowan Silkystones. It’s so smooth and silky… I don’t mean slippery. It’s like a well-oiled drawer, the yarn just glides across my Addi Turbos in the. most. satisfying. way.
If you haven’t played with it, it’s worth experiencing how totally unique it is. The colors are mixed like a marble cake and make a fascinating fabric.
However -- it is a very “organic” yarn, you will find slubs and thick/thin sections. I don’t mind right now, as the yarn is really so bizarrely satisfying that they just are part of the landscape. I’m just knitting those chunks right in.
