What a fab weekend project. Excellent and super-simple, and I’ll be advertising on my Facebook page when it is released, for sure!

It looks equally awesome without the fringe, if that’s not your thang.

Also, the shaping makes it nice and snug at the neck like I like my cowls to be. I am not a long-ring, wind-going-right-though my cowl kind of gal.

I never make patterns twice -- I might have to with this one, it’s just the perfect shape for a cowl and is a GREAT stash buster, especially if you want to play around with the fringe.

I used every bit of my 2 balls of Fazed Tweed and only got 30% of the fringe done. Each fringe has 3 pieces so I managed one piece of Fazed Tweed per. The rest I used stash for, and I like the effect of something a little different there. Actually, if you are using Fazed Tweed, I suggest you don’t have multiple pieces in your fringe, as this stuff sticks to itself like velcro. You decide -- but you may not want dreads instead of fringe! I happened to have some viscose/rayon unknown stuff in my scrap basket that will keep the dreading at bay.

Test knit for Jane Richmond! Fazed Tweed it pretty thick, it takes some effort to knit with. The fabric is interesting though, and nice and squishy.
