March 9, 2014: There are a few pictures from the indoor pool at the Domaine Tomali-Maniatyn Bed and Breakfast in Sutton, Quebec. Because the Catskills are farther, I renamed my cardi Monts Sutton.

I blocked this with blocking wires because you have to pull it quite a bit to get to the schematic size. Once there the blocking keeps it nicely wide, especially with this mohair. It’s like it was hair sprayed into place, lol!

Quite a nice piece for over summer dresses, very happy with it. Do try out this design!

February 28, 2014: The border takes quite a long time to do… make time for it! Instead of repeating the cable motif 3 times, for the last few rows of the final repeat, I removed the side columns of twisted stitches and had the cable end in a point.

February 20, 2014: WIP picture shows the length after 30 repeats, when you are supposed to start the fun dropping of stitches. But I think it’s a bit short, so I’m knitting to 35 repeats.

It’s very teeny tiny before dropping stitches, it won’t fit you when you try it on!

A test knit for Sheila Toy Stromberg! Very cute and quick to knit.

Not sure dropping a scratchy mohair blend will be very pleasant though!
