Notes

24Nov2012 The motifs are just fabulous… whimsical and slightly creepy, like any good fairy tale. =D

Well. The second mitt was too big. Yes. The first one was not. So, in a brilliant move, I soaked it in boiling hot water despite madtosh light being washable. I have officially proved it is washable: the mitten didn’t shrink, but it did bleed, lol. Final product, the right mitt is too big and tan instead of yellow! FAIL. Anywho, I’m thinking of using these as a double mitt layer, could work great. When it’s really cold, I just slip them over my other mittens!

19Oct2012 A test knit for WillowRosa. I just love the romantic Victorian feel of the motifs.

I am using a bigger needle than specified so that I get enough height for my long fingers. This is making the mitten quite large width-wise, unfortunately.

I used embroidery floss for some of the colors of Little Red, because I have infinite colors in it! It’s not really easy to knit with, it splits too easily (this of course is a desired trait in embroidery).
