12June2012: A test knit for TwoGirlsPatterns. I couldn’t put the first slipper down it was so much fun to make. I even played hookey from work to make them! It fits perfectly and looks GOOD, which is really challenging for a crafted slipper. Bravo! I will be making more adult slippers from TwoGirls in the future.

I recommend this pattern for advanced beginners who really want to get into crochet. There are enough pictures and details to help, and with some internet searches you can really learn all the stitches and crocheting in the round.

My mods:
Fuzzy ear: MC for slip stitch detailing around outer part of inner ear and outer ear, but doubled worsted white mohair for slip stitch detailing the very inner ear.

Eyes: Done over 3 sts instead of 2 to be more Japanese style.
