Notes

Went with a US 6 for the edge, then the US 10 for the linen stitch.

I tried a Channel Island Cast on to see if the nubs improved the design, it did not look like I hoped so, frogged it.

Easy and fast, I love the linen stitch!

Still need to block it…

10-05-2019
Nothing like procrastination! Finally blocked it!
I think I liked it better unblocked, maybe I had the tension to tight? I did block it pretty hard. I used a rod, but I can see the pin/stretch marks in some of the edge stitches of the cowl from blocking. For some reason this really bothers me.

I will say the color is flatter, a little sheen from the yarn was lost during the soak, but the brighter colors really pop now, the pinks and the purples really stand out and the dark copper tones are a bit more muted now. I like the color better over all, but a little of the luster from the yarn is gone, maybe I used too much Eucalan?
I think I blocked too aggressively. I am going to give it another long soak and block lightly again, it should have some memory from the first block, but if I pretty much lay it flat it may eliminate some of the stretched areas from the pins that really annoy me.
