Notes

I needed to add three extra rows to meet the measurements, but no big deal on that one. Especially with me not using the yarn suggested for this project. xD

I used an elastic cording and some drawstring “clips”/“locks” (the closures) since I have often had issues with tying knots with this yarn to keep things secure.

Also, rather than turning my work, at the end of each round I did the sl st into the top of the ch3, then ch3, dc in next dc around until join.

Using this cotton yarn, this bag is strong enough to hold at least a couple of pounds of fruit (if not more), and is tall enough for celery/fennel (aka anise) and other tall items you are likely to find in the produce section.

If you are going to be purchasing smaller items such as mushrooms, cherries, small peppers (ex. serrano chiles) I would not recommend this produce bag. This is definitely a design for larger fruits, vege, tubers, etc.
