I am using a scrubbie yarn from Korea (no idea what the name is, I speak and read no Korean, but it’s what RedHeart has been basing their scrubby yarns off).

The pattern itself is great, the yarn for this not so much. xD It’s a very stiff yarn when compared to cotton.

With this yarn does it clean dishes well? Definitely, but because it does not have the movement of cotton, it is not as cute in terms of shape.

I will probably make another one making most of it out of cotton and doing the finishing slip stitches with the scrubbie yarn.
