I am making this hat in single crochet. The gauge with this yarn was 11.5sts/4inches. I worked through increase round 9 for a 20” hat.

10/15 I need a bigger hat! Should have measured my head first! I will be ending on increase round 10 for a 22” men’s size hat. I think I would like to add a rolled brim for a more dressy hat.

Changed my mind again. The 22” was still a bit tight so I did another increase round for a 24” size. There is little stretch in this because of the single crochet’s density.
