This is a basic sock pattern derived from what works best for me. For some reason I knit the second sock longer in the leg and not noticing it until after turning the heel I decided to knit on. But then I found that the foot was considerably shorter on the second sock and I didn’t have enough yarn to reknit. So it was frogged and after I shortened the leg I had enough yarn to knit the foot long enough the second time.
