I’m using a smaller needle than recommended on the yarn for 9 sts/inch. I really like a nice tight fabric for socks.

Lisa flies back to Alaska on Wednesday. Will I get them done in time for her to take them or will I have to mail them later?

1/8/11 Working on the heel flap of the first sock. We are in Northern Wisconsin, football is on the schedule for this afternoon so while the others watch TV, I will be knitting.

1/9/11 Finished knitting the first sock. Need to have her try it on.

1/13/11 It fits perfectly! The first one is finished, on to the second.
