I made this for myself when I was in high school in the early 1970’s. Pattern was ordered form a newspaper advertisement (I still have it somewhere). Yarn was 100% acrylic because I didn’t have any other choices.

My 20something DD still wears it when she is cold. The tie is coming apart at one end but otherwise it is still in good shape.
