Got the back done to underarm, started fronts

I wanted the pattern to be continuous over the top of shoulders which left me off when I joined at the underarms. I worked ribbing over 5 stitches at each underarm.

Decided to add stitches to flare out the hip area for better fit. At 8.5” from underarm join I added 4 stitches (one each side of center stitch) at both underarms every 8 rows 8 times total changing center stitch from k to p to k as needed to keep ribbing going.

Bound off the body. Fits beautifully !

First sleeve was too big so I frogged it. Started again with decreases every 5th round 10 times and then every 4th round 10 times.

Picked up 174 stitches from neckline. Worked 6 rows on US 5, then 4 rows on US 4, 4 rows on US 3.

Bound off neckband then picked up and knit button band. Worked half-way through buttonhole band need to decide on style of buttonhole and placement.

Knitting is finished! Just need to weave ends and sew on buttons.
