The first time I saw this cardigan I spotted it in an advertise on the back of a knitting magazine.By that time I fell deeply in love with the design. The textured yoke, the a line body…. after a short research I found and purchased this pattern.

Finished the Body, ready to start with the sleeves.
I ordered a few matching buttons at knoepfe.de but still can’t decide which ones to sew on the cardigan. The feather shaped ones are lovely but not for this project. I might go for the flowers rather than the cooper ones.

I’ve knitted elbow-length sleeves only. Finally I decided on the buttons and sewed on the tiny orange flowers. Washed and blocked it, now waiting for it to dry. The cardigan grew significant in wide and length . Hopefully the neckline still fits and hasn’t grown as much as the rest.
Might take photos of the FO tomorrow afternoon when the lightning is good.

Well…. it came out way to big. Will wash it again and let it dry without blocking. If it’s still to big, I’m going to frog this and reknit the whole thing.

Still way to big. I’ll frog and reknit this two sizes smaller. But this will take a while to find some motivation.
