I loved this pattern and took my time with it.

For the first two increases with the right side facing I used M1L and for the last two increases after the middle stitch I used M1R.

I substituted German short rows for the wrap and turn which I think looks nice. I knitted one extra stitch each time, turned my work, brought yarn to front and slipped 1 stitch purlwise then pulled the yarn up and over. When I got to the double leg stitch on my return row I knitted it together.

I finished with a modified i-cord bind off: with larger needles cast on 2 extra stitches. Knit 1tbl, k2togtbl, slip both back to left needle. Continue until end. I also picked up stitches along the top and knitted a few rows in the burgundy before continuing the i-cord along the top.
