Notes

I spent two evenings making the first scrappy ball. 100g exactly!

I’m not sure I’m thrilled with all the little knots but we’ll see. I know how to make a moss stitch shawl so bought the pattern mainly to see the scrap ball technique.

Second scrappy ball made. Forgot to measure this one.

Honestly I’ve just been frustrated wth this project. The small knots are a pain and ruin the feel of the shawl. I’ve come this far so will continue to use up the yarn. Made my third ball today. Really I just winged it, counting 12 turns of the winder per colour. Some colours are finished so we’ll see how it all looks.

Still have some yarn left but have decided to stop. Realistically I’m not going to wear a shawl full of knots. I love the random colour changes - just wish the pattern had a less noticeable way of changing colours.
