A welcome change to sweater knitting. I’ve just started this and loving the different style.

I’ll block this while knitting the other side.
Edit. Decided not to block the first half. Completed the project then blocked the whole sweater. Blocked easily and kept shape well.

I was a bit confused by the pattern instructions as you’re told to knit so many cm from the cast on to reach your size, then divide work leaving a set number of stitches to work the sleeve. As everyone knits to a different gauge the stitches left for the sides will vary.

I started the sleeve division at the 4th shoulder cast off.

The ribbing - picked up 4, skipped the 5th stitch,
The neck band - picked up 3, skipped the 4th stitch

Used 11 full balls (1210 yards). The neck took 1 1/3 balls

Edit. After wearing the sweater I felt the ribbing was too loose. I unravelled and changed to a size 3mm from a 4 mm and reduced by 40 stitches as well. Re-blocked it and now to sits and fits a lot better. Cast off using a larger needle. I used the Icelandic cast off.

Loved knitting this sweater. I will definitely be doing it again. It fits well, easy mindless knit.
