This project is a loose interpretation inspired by the look of the original.

The heathered greens (blend of wools and alpaca) and the gray (Lincoln are my handspun. The gold and purple are handspun Border Leicester by a fellow guild member which I dyed using logwood and cutch on our natural dye day one summer.

Crafted in double crochet with a neat discovery of working into the chain bar of the row below. I unvented it, and it’s like working around the posts. I think it’d use less yarn since it doesn’t have to go all the way around the post.
