I made a few alterations to make this fit me how I wanted. I cast on according to size XL but only continued to size L at the bottom of the skirt. This made the skirt a good length and fullness for me. Then I set the skirt lower by extending the moss stitch (though I made it seed stitch) section over my waist decreasing to L to get a more shaped feel to it. I did about 100 rows of seed stitch. Then I worked the sleeves (and I live that they are sisters rather than twins) then did the seed rows to join them to the dress. Then continued on according to the pattern. So basically just a bit of combining g sizes and lengthening the waist a bit. I LOVE how this has turned out. The colors worked up beautifully and I couldn’t have made it better if I had planned the color changes.
