Took “in wear” photos today - not totally Content… the sleeves are a little on the tight side. And I think I am not really so fond about the way it fits with a very narrow line of fabric around the shoulders - a nice classical Raglan might be better for me.

Nevertheless, it is way better to have something finished than having it sit as an UFO in some knitting bag. And I think I will wear it, in transition time and in summer, probably. It is a little to cold now, I think.

FINISHED! Totally FINISHED! After nearly 3 years on the needles, I finally finished this UFO with the third pattern I tried! When I joined the “MachdasUfofertigKAL” which runs the month of January only, I was about 2 cm into the Body and thought I might be able to finish the Body in that month - but I FINALLY finished the whole thing!
Whoohooo!

Not too sure about the yarn … I have a feeling it might pill a lot…

I am totally motivated now to finsh my Raglano, another long time UFO, in February!

Will add “in wear” photos as soon as it is dry…

I made some progress at the first sleeve - I am about 18 cm from finishing, so I might even be able to finsh the whole thing in January! The hem of the body is rolling heavyly, - I hope this will block out!

Measured what I got done in the first week - I knit app. 6 rows every evening and I am quite proud of myself.. My original goal was to knit 10 cm this month, but I reached 13 cm by today. So I will probably adapt my goal to finishing the body in January. Knitted this while reading “Konklave” by Robert Harris and “Eine Wundersame Weihnachtsreise” (which I really like a lot!)

Change of Plan again…
After not knitting in this for years I decided to frog Meris and knit another Atelier cardigan.

Yeaaaah! After finishing my Henni sweater, I am finally allowing myself to buy this pattern and start! Can’t wait to join the KAL in the wonderful Podcasting auf Deutsch group!
June 1st
My gauge is a little of, 26x34 instead of 24, so I will knit M1 and trust that the yarn will grow a little (too lazy to wash swatch). Not a good idea to frog this yarn, quite sticky due to Alpaka content, was not able to frog swatch completely.

June 10th
Gnaaaa- totally messed up the lace panel in the second pattern repeat - ripped out the whole project again. Will probably add another marker in the middle of the repeat to faciliate keeping track.

Okay - change of plan - will frog this and use the yarn for Meris.
Even knit a swatch which I will wash and block - unwashed and blocked,
39 stitches give me 15 cm
30 rows 8,5 cm i.e. 35 rows for 10 cm
