This Thing is cursed! First, the Stricktick hank got totally tangled and was a pain to wind. Then, I miscounted the cast on and forgot to place 1 marker - ripped it all out.
Then, I twisted the cast on.
Ripped out again.
Hope it will be third time the charm…

Yeah, finally! All good things come in threes, so now I have finished cast on, short rows and first 5 sets of raglan increases.
Keep in mind: BOR marker is also part of the raglan markers! It is located at the top of the left shoulder.
Did do the neckline ribbing in rows to hinder twisting, will use the cast on tail to close the gap later.

Seperated sleeves from the body. My row gauge is off, do have 33 rows for 10 cm instead of just 30, so I did 4 stripes in contrast colour instead of 3 before separating.
Also casted on 6 stitches under each arm to make sure the sleeves are not too tight. Quite like it so far.

Finished short rows, back to rounds. Looks quite good to me so far!

Okay, after my Vertices were finished much earlier than I exspected, I got this out of summer break as well. Plan to make it less long than my first one from the cotton gradient.
September 13, 2018
Started waist decreases a little earlier than the pattern says (app. 6.5 cm length of shorter side) as I want to make this shorter than my first version.
Rounds are quite long, it takes me app. 10 minutes for one round sighs

Took this out of hibernation today as the dice said that this will be my first project in the #strick6in2019 KAL hosted by Jenny of the Youtube channel “Wolliges Geplauder”.
I am at 40 cm from cast on on the shorter side, so I will have app. 15 cm to go for the body. A total length of 55 cm on the shorter side should be fine.

Finished body
January 6, 2019
Picked Up 80 stitches for first sleeve and will decrease 2 stitches Dach in Dach second pink rosa rot 71 stitches
January 11, 2019
Decreased to 67 stitches and I was afraid the sleeve might be too tight, so I tried it on - it is ok… It could be a little wider for my taste, but maybe it will widen - well, ok, we all know that it never gets wider when it’s supposed to. But this is wool, not cotton like in my first one, so I might be able to block out a little width

Finished! Yeah! Really like how it turned out so far, but we will have to wait for the final try on.
I want to avoid that it grows so much when drying as my Cria cardigan, so I took advantage of the great sunny winter weather we have today and laid it out flat on our garden table which has a mesh structure ideal for drying.

Took in wear photos and really, really like it! The only thing that could maybe be optimised is the neckline, that could be a tad less wide.
But in total, I really like it! I love the lenght, exactly as I wanted it to be, I like the bright pink bit on the top, I like the width and the fit, I even like the relatively tight sleeves.
I can definitely see more of those in my future. Maybe I will also do a not so asymetric version, just using the short-row construction of the neckline and the raglan increases - we will see.
But this first finished UFO of 2019 is definitely a success, I would say!
