Though my first is not ready yet, I decided I want to knit and start a summery version from a cotton yarn. The first one is from woolen sockyarn, so way too warm to wear now.
So I used my Bobbel for this and this time, I did NOT twist the cast on as I only joined for the round after the short rows at the neck. I will sew the gap with the cast on tail.
Love the colour and the knitting on the terrasse while listening to the bees in the sage in bloom, smelling the Holunder trees and reading “Die Honigtöchter”»

Picked up 86 stitches for the sleeve, knit app. 20 rows plain, decreased 2 stitches every 8th row, to 70 stitches. Used a 2.5 mm needle for the cuff and cast off.

Finished! Did the sleeves 26 cm before starting the cuff which will go for app. 2/3 sleeves. Hope the stitch definition will even out a little after washing and blocking.

Really love how this turned out! The sleeves might be a tad on the tight side, but still ok. I made it exactly as written - escept for the stripes, obivously,, including the waist de- and increases.
If I made it again (which I will as my sockyarn version is still on the needles) , I will make the body a little shorter, maybe 5 cm or so.
