Well, unfourtunately the contrast is not as good as I would have thought with the self striping yarn - it is ok for the teal and blue parts, but the yellowish-green is hard to see, especially if you work on it with shutted blinds on a hot day - ask me how I know… ;-)

I might try to use only the high contrast bits for the second sock. The pattern itself is really addictive though!

I plan to do the foot with the self-striping yarn and will increase the length of the leg a bit.

Finished colorwork on the second sock, the contrast is waaay better! My stitches at the beginning of the rows are sometimes a little loose, especially in the long grey rows, but my tension is improving, so I am confident that I will be a master “colorworker” by the end of this club ;-))

Plan to do the foot with the self-striping yarn, maybe will switch to grey again for the toes.

Gnaaaa - tried my socks - both legs are finished and heels turned - on for the first time - well, I TRIED - and could only get the first one over my heel with a lot of wiggling, the second not…

So these will probably be knitted in a small size and go to a charity which gives colorful socks to cancer patients, called Onkosöckla - I only learned about them yesterday

So next time I will definitely have to go for the bigger size.
The problem are the long floats in the last two stem rows.

Finished knitting during my car trip as planned. Now just sewing in ends and blocking - maybe I can convince the second sock to go over my heel after all?
