Had this yarn left in my stash and I think this is a great way to use it up. 3.5 mm needles are on the tight side, but as my first was a little too loose, this will be a lot tighter and smaller.

Finished! About half the size of no. 1, but as the gauge is way tighter, the filling does not shine through.

I did not work a slip stitch hem, I was able to sew together much more neatly. I also like the crocheted bits, might even consider doing the beak in crochet as well.
