Wanted to have something for summer in marine colours, which is why I chose this color combination. Was reluctant what type of blue to use, but Enzian is just right.
Did an edge of 2 stitches garter on each side and did the increases with yarnovers which I knit through the back loop on wrong side rows. quite like the look.
Gauge is quite loose with this needle size, but I totally love how the fabric is light, airy and cotton-y summery.
Knit a major part of it during our Holiday in Sa Rapita on Mallorca. We had a very beautiful summer kitchen there and I loved knitting there, reading, drinking coffee and listening to the birds singing.
May 6: Started second plain W
white section, i.e. 10th of 15 Color sections. Stopped the increases after 30% of the yarn, i.e. when my 5th colour change ended.

Started the last colour and I am not sure if the yarn will be enough from one bobbel. I have bought a small skein of the red yarn, so I would be fine. But I should probably have weighed the yarn instead of just going by the colours. However, I started decreases after 30% already instead of 35% - well, maybe it will be enough, we will see.

Finished! But this ate waaaay more yarn than I thought. I think 35% is way too much to use before starting the decreases - I would recommend to go for 25% to be on the safe side. I did not have red as I thought, so I finished with a natural white cotton yarn from my stash. This will be huuuuuge - I clipped it to my terrace table especially on the decrease side to get it straight.
