Was not sure if this would work in the thicker yarn, but I quite like the fabric I got in my swatch, so I will give it a go. I would like to have a slightly shorter cardigan, but I am not sure if this will work with the drapey shape - we will see.

Okay, change of plan - I like how the lacey fabric looks in this yarn, but I do not think this will have enough drape. So I will switch and do the February Lady Sweater - I am not sure if I will do the gull lace or this lace pattern. Oh, and of course I totally messed the pattern already…

Increased to 95 stitches for the back, 63 stitches for sleeves. Did 2 garter ridges before separating for the sleeves. Will do just 2 rows of lace in the front and 3 in the back

Worked on this during our hiking vacation in Lechtal

Picked up 74 stitches for the first sleeve, placed lace panel 25 stitches from underarm center stitch.

Finished knitting - now just weave in ends and sew on buttons and wash and block. Not too soon though, because it is way too hot to wear it anyway. I really like the feel of the yarn, but I would love it to be a little thinner - maybe Drops can come up with a fingereing version?

Ends woven in, buttons sewn on , washed, left in the blazing sun to dry. Yarn bleed a little when washing.
