Decided I can as well knit nephew Hendrik’s birthday socks now that I finished his brother’s for christmas and his birthday. Luckily, he has slightly smaller feet!

I nevertheless decided to go for scrappy socks again as those seem to go so quickly. Using the Aldi yarn for cuff, heels and maybe toes.

Finished 1st sock, casted on the second. Ended up doing cuff, heel and toe with the Aldi yarn.

Turned heel of the second sock

Quite like how these turned out. While knitting them, it occured to me that my brother’s birthday is even 4 weeks before that of my nephew and I briefly considered giving these to him as he has the same shoe size.

However, I decided I surely can finish another scrappy pair for him, so these will go to nephew as intended.
